Immersed in more than 30 years of biblical and theological studies, Dr. Antonio M. Wilson has authored several books to help people gain a better understanding of Christianity. Dr. Antonio M. Wilson has embarked on another project, this time to help people in need obtain the services the government has intended for them through his website www.a2nd.life and the corresponding mobile software application.

As explained in the website video, at some period within the age range of 25 and 75 years old, many Americans will experience living below the poverty line for at least one year. Based on United States Census Bureau figures, around 43 million Americans live in poverty. Millions of people in desperate need of public assistance do not receive it because they experience difficulty knowing about, finding, or understanding the help they qualify for.

Not receiving this assistance when it’s critically needed can lead to unfortunate occurrences such as abandoned children, crime, and even death.

More than 30 million individuals use some form of public assistance annually, and 70 percent of these people have smartphones.

The mobile app provided by 2nd Life allows people who are having difficulty understanding the assistance processes to view an animated presentation showing a simplified approach on how to obtain this help. One can choose various categories, which include public assistance (applying for welfare), housing, and medical, and then enter the city and state to view the corresponding guide on how to obtain these services in one’s locality.

The application can be downloaded from the Android or Apple app store for $1.99.

California-based author and speaker Dr. Antonio M. Wilson understands hard times and how important procuring the right help can be. Having experienced the positive effects of public assistance services in his own life, Dr. Antonio M. Wilson decided to do something to mitigate the daunting application process: his latest project has been the development of a new smartphone application titled “Second Life” that provides animated tutorials to streamline the application process.

Each year, millions of Americans who qualify for public assistance services do not seek the help they need because of the difficulty involved with finding, applying for, and receiving the right social services. At $1.99, this app currently serves as an accessible and user-friendly bridge between people in need and the programs designed to serve them.

While it is now available for purchase, the app is still being developed to eventually provide county-specific information for every US state. Currently, the app offers information for 58 counties in California. For more information, those interested can check out the app on iTunes and Google Play or visit the website at www.a2nd.life.
